We work with our clients through every step of the process, from the early design stages to construction and completion. After a project is done, we continue to visit the site to make sure
the garden thrives.
The process
It all starts with an overall design for your home and garden — a whole space that should blend seamlessly together. In the end, your garden should look as if it wasn’t designed at all but like it was always there.

These are done in plan view, and to-scale. The sketches show different ideas and explore various solutions for the space. After reviewing them together, a Final Sketch — or Master Plan — is made.

Based on approval of the Final Sketch, Construction Drawings begin. Depending on the scope of the project, we create a series of CAD drawings which are sent to contractors for bidding and used during the construction phase. Drawing sheets often include a construction, planting, and lighting plans.

During construction, we periodically observe the project to ensure the best possible outcome and compliance with the design intent and construction documents.
